Cancellation Policy

We endeavor to process the orders to the satisfaction of the user. However, there can be circumstances or situations where the termination of the transaction/order placed, occur either by us or the user. On such occurrence, the user shall abide by our user-friendly cancellation policy which has been provided below:

  • You may cancel your order before the product has been shipped. The amount paid by you while placing the order will be refunded to you at the earliest. In case of cancellation of an item from your order, you shall follow the process enumerated at the bottom of the page.
  • Cancellations shall only be considered if the request for cancellation is made within 72 hours of placing the order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and/or your order reaches the "Order Shipped Stage".
  • There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.
  • No cancellations are entertained for those products that the Fatafatbuy marketing team has obtained on festive offers. These are limited occasion offers, and therefore cancellations are not possible.
  • does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement may be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.
  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and non durable items like mobile phones, electrical and electronics etc, you may immediately report the same to the Customer Service team of The request shall, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined such damage at his own end, and provided that the damage shall be reported within 3 days of receipt of the products and in case of books, VCDs, DVDs, software products, it should be reported within 2 days.
  • In case you feel that the product received is not the same as it appeared on the web portal of or as per the requirements of the model for which the order was placed, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate action.
  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturer/vendor, please refer the issue to the respective manufacturer/vendor. Our Customer Service may provide you the necessary information for the same.

Process to cancel an item in your order:

Log into your Fatafatbuy account and to the "My Orders" page

  • Classify the item you want to call off and click on the matching "View Details" link
  • In the detailed order page, you will see "Cancel" links against each of the items in that order
  • Click on the "Cancel" link, specify the intention for termination, select a mode of repayment
  • When your termination request is generated, we will confirm that the cancellation is sorted out as soon as possible

A disabled 'Cancel' link can mean the following things : - The item has by now been dispatched by Fatafatbuy /The item has a quantity greater than one associated with it /The item is non-refundable (example, e-Gift Vouchers, Wallet Top-Ups, etc) - In any of the above cases, you can get in touch with our Customer Support for more information

Once you have requested for a cancellation, we will process the same within 1-2 days of accepting your request, and send you a confirmation mail that we have refunded the payment to your account. It might take a few more days for the same to reflect in your account, based on your bank's operational efficiency.
